When planning your trip to France, it's good to bear in mind any Public Holidays that may arise. Expect heavier traffic especially on a weekend or if heading South in Summer (like millions of Parisians escaping the heat and humidity of a large city for the coastal resorts of the Med).

Where is Pézenas?

Pézenas is a lively medieval market town in the heart of the rolling hills of Languedoc- a gateway town strategically located close to the intersection of the A9 (Spain-Italy) and A75 (Paris-South) motorways. It lies 10 miles inland from a wide range of sandy Mediterranean beaches, and airport access is from Carcassonne, Beziers, Perpignan, Montpellier or Nimes, all within 1 hour.
